Barcelona

I went to Spain on Thursday 24^th June. I was very excited about going to Spain because, I had never been there before. When we arrived at the airport we were allowed to buy some breakfast as we had some time before takeoff.

Firstly, we got stuck on the plane for nearly two hours but, luckily we still had time to go to the zoo. At the zoo we had a great time as it was a very warm day which meant that we could see all the animals and take good pictures.

On the second day, we went to Parc Guell which was amazing as there were mini stalls with fans and bracelets etc. Also, after a while we found a nice shady area with a perfect view. This was where we sat for the rest of the time in Parc Guell. On the same day, before we went to Parc Guell we went to Corte Ingles and Placa Cataluña. The Placa Catalunya is a big square much like Trafalgar Square. It is a very big area  which I liked alot.  Moreover on this day we went to the La Sagrada Familia. This is a cathedral still being built. It was created by Antoni Gaudi but, Gaudi died in 1926 so even now it is being built. It is expected to be finished in 2030. Furthermore, we went shopping at 21:00 in the night.

On the 3^rd day we went we arrived at Mount Tibidabo where there is a church, a theme park etc. To add on we went to the New Camp Stadium which was my highlight of the trip as I am a football addict.

The last place that we went to on the 3^rd day was Montjuic. The Montjuic was quite interesting too as it was near the Olympic Stadium.

Finally, on the last day (Sunday 27^th June) it was my birthday. We went to the aquarium on this day and we ate at a restaraunt right in front of the harbour. It was one of the best birthdays I had ever had. However, this was also the day we had to leave which was quite unfortunate.

My Spanish Trip to Barcelona!

 

We had to be at school for 5:30 on Thursday morning.  We went to Leeds Bradford airport and got on the plane.  We had to wait for about 2 hours on the plane before we could set off because there was a delay.  We finally set off and when we got there we went to the Zoo and looked round for 2 hours. Jess, Sophie and I were walking round and then went to order an ice-cream in Spanish. We then went to the shop at the Zoo and met the teachers back at the start of the Zoo.

 

When we got back from the Zoo we went to the Hostel and started to unpack in our rooms there were two rooms of nine.

 

Once we had unpacked we had to go down for dinner.

I didn’t really like the food very much.

 

My favourite place on the trip was when we went to the Nou Camp. I really enjoyed going to the Nou Camp as I like football and it was good to look around.  My favourite part was when we were walking around the Nou Camp as it was good and I bought my sister a shirt.

 

I really enjoyed my Spanish trip to Barcelona.

My Spanish Trip to Barcelona: Nou Camp

 

On the third day in Barcelona we went to Nou Camp, it was really good. We got to go on a tour of the whole stadium which was a really good experience because we even got to go in the changing rooms and we got to sit were the team managers sit which I thought was really good. Everyone took lots of pictures and really enjoyed it.

 

After we had finished the tour we got to go in the shop and loads of the boys got the Barcelona kit and so did some of the girls. We bought souvenirs and then went out of the shop.

 

When we had come out of the shop we got some food mostly chips and then everyone sat on the grass and ate them which was funny because there was a random big group of children sat on the grass.

My diary entry for Spain:

When we arrived at the airport it was very busy but we then soon got on the plane.
Just as we were about to set off the plane had a technical difficulty so we had a delay of two hours.
Eventually when we arrived in Barcelona it was very sunny. We got on a coach and went to the zoo, the zoo was very interesting and fun. I took a lot of photos.
The  next day we went to el corte ingles which was very fun becuase we did a scavenger hunt, after we went to the sagrada familia which was very interesting - it looks amazing.  Later when we went to parc guell it was very big and there were lots of things to buy. When we went to la rambla there were a lot of street performers and artists. At night we went shopping.
On Saturday we went to Tibidabo which was amazing - the veiw was spectacular, next we went to the football stadium which was really fun. Mountjuic was interesting as well. Then we went SHOPPING!! which was really good.
On Sunday we went to the aquarium which was interesting with all the sharks then we had to come home.
Overall I had a great time and would love to go again!!
